Peterborough rock band We Are Fiction were the second band
on the Big Deal Clothing Stage at Takedown Festival, and they definitely set
the atmosphere of the day right. Phil Barker’s vocals are amazing and merge
well with the harmonic backing vocals of Marc Kucharski. We Are Fiction’s songs
are the perfect mix of mellow rock and harsh screaming vocals, making them a
band accessible to rock fans across the spectrum. ‘Sail On’ was especially well
received by the crowd and it was a great ending to an incredibly strong and
impressive performance. With their songs appearing on Scuzz and Kerrang, We Are
Fiction are growing in fans rapidly, and if you haven’t checked them out yet
then you’re missing out!
