Beatastic ‘This Lazer Life’ Album Review



Beatastic, also known as Nico, is an unsigned acoustic/electronica performer from Brighton. ‘Bbycks’ is a catchy electronica song, whereas ‘Blank Colouring Book’ is a simple yet beautiful acoustic song. It is apparent from the beginning that ‘This Lazer Life’ is going to be a fusion of dance, electronica and acoustic music, and it can appeal to many different music fans. Beatastic has a unique voice, which matches the different styles of his songs. ‘Get High, Get Low’ is a dance song which features strong rapping from xSUICIDEx and Global Graffiti. ‘Body Positive’ features Kirby, and promotes the positive message of being yourself and being proud of who you are. ‘Nerd Swag’ is one of the most enjoyable songs to listen to, and features a wide range of guest artists. All in all, Beatastic is a talented musician who is able to create many different styles of music, and if you want to listen to something different that the stereotypical chart music, then this album is for you.
