Killswitch Engage ‘In Due Time’ Single Review

After Killswitch Engage announced last February that they were reuniting with their original lead singer Jesse Leach, fans have been eagerly awaiting their new material. ‘In Due Time’ is the first single to be released, and Killswitch Engage are definitely on to a winner. Opening with a killer riff and Jesse Leach’s harsh vocals, it’s instantly apparent that Killswitch aren’t swaying from their metal roots. However, during the chorus Jesse uses clean vocals, which are equally as impressive as his screams. The guitar solo is particularly striking, and it has all of the elements needed to create a great-sounding metal song.  All in all, ‘In Due Time’ is fresh and exciting, and it was definitely worth the wait. Their new album, ‘Disarm The Descent’, will be released in April.
